Wyoming
Requirements:
- Lived experience, state resident, completion fo state approved training and exam, necessary work experience and observation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must live in Wyoming at least 51% of the year
- Personal lived experience with substance use disorder and/or mental health experiences and in recovery for at least 2 years
Continuing Education Requirements:
- 20 hours CEU’s every 2 years
- Effective 2/1/2021, Recover Wyoming will be in charge of the certification process for Peer Specialists for the state of Wyoming. Recover Wyoming is the member board for the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for the Peer Recovery credential/certification.
