Requirements:

• Lived experience, completion of state approved training and exam, necessary work experience and observation
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Completion of the 75-hour course includes: Advocacy (10 hours) Mentoring/Education (10 hours) Recovery Support/Wellness (10 hours) Ethical Responsibility (16 hours) Practicum/Portfolio/Testing (29 hours)
  

Continuing Education Requirements:

• 20 hours CEU’s every 2 years
