Holding the Hope Launches Dedicated WRAP® Division: Virtual, and Accessible Nationwide

Battle Ground, WA – Holding the Hope is thrilled to announce a significant expansion of our services with the launch of a dedicated Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP®) Division. This new division brings everything you know and love about Holding the Hope—our commitment to excellence, our recovery based approach, and our rigorous standards—to the world of WRAP.

In a move to increase accessibility and break down barriers to care, we are proud to be one of the few organizations in the country authorized to offer ALL Virtual WRAP 1 and WRAP 2 trainings led by fully certified instructors.

“At Holding the Hope, we have always believed that recovery tools should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live or their ability to travel,” says Mary, owner of Holding the Hope. “By launching a specific division for WRAP, we aren’t just adding a class; we are creating a hub of excellence. We are bringing the same spirit, the same authenticity, and the same high standards you trust from our Peer Support training into this vital evidence-based tool.”

The new division features top-tier instruction from two powerhouse leaders in the field:

  • Lisa Brown: Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator.  Based in Auburn, Washington, Lisa is an Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator who has been leading groups and seminars since 2017. “WRAP has truly transformed my life, and I feel honored to share this evidence-based wellness tool with others,” says Brown. “Helping people discover their own path to recovery and resilience is my passion.”
  • Sharon Holmes: Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator.  With a Master’s degree in Education and a minor in Workforce Education and Development, Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge to the virtual classroom. Certified in Human Resources and Chemical Dependency, she has served as a Certified Peer Counselor since 2008. For over 12 years, Sharon has utilized her skills to lead teams and facilitate positive change, providing direct care management to clients facing mental health and substance use challenges.

This expansion ensures that whether you are an individual looking for personal wellness tools (WRAP 1) or a professional seeking facilitation certification (WRAP 2), you are receiving training that honors the integrity of the evidence-based model while being delivered with the compassion and “real talk” that Holding the Hope is famous for.

“We are creating a space where people can get certified without the hurdle of travel, using a platform that meets them where they are,” Mary adds. “It’s about holding the hope for everyone’s recovery, and now, holding the space for WRAP, virtually and effectively.”

Registration is now open for the upcoming virtual cohorts.

The National Peer Support Training Center is a program of Holding the Hope. Holding the Hope is a leader in peer support education and mental health advocacy.
